Dearest Friends,

The Broken

You cannot imagine how bad it is for the children in the Roma villages where we are serving. It was very sweet this morning to go a village and present God’s rescue plan to these children and adults. This was the first time that our friends had presented the Gospel in this particular place. We set up outside an abandoned school which is now used as a bathroom. It was a sad place.
It was wonderful to see the response of the children and the adults. They loved the program! They laughed and smiled and clapped. When we left, they asked us to come again. The Gospel is news in this place. Please pray for it to root well in their hearts. Please pray for our friends as they make plans to continue working in this place. We are really enjoying working with Andy and Lim Warner!

The Chesnut Festival

Christians from many Croatian churches gathered today for fellowship, games, music, and good food at a summer camp. It was a beautiful place named Zelena Dolina which means “Green Valley”. Also, we enjoyed chesnuts roasted on a fire and I began to dream of Christmas. It was a cloudy day and soon it began to rain on our puppet show, but it was not a problem. We only had to shorten it by one song. I felt that I was in Ireland again . Not all the children were believers so it was very sweet to tell them how they could meet Jesus.

Prayer Requests

Please pray for us as we work in the Roma villages. Pray for the children to listen . Pray that it will not rain and that it will be warm enough for them to be outside at the programs. Please pray for safety for the team.

In Jesus, Linda, Sam, Sergej, Lim, Andy, Daniel, and Zeljka.
