Dearest friends,
Yelagiri Hills
On our way up the mountain, we saw more than 60 monkeys. They were walking on the walls, climbing in the trees, and standing in the middle of the road. They were not afraid of the cars or buses because Hindus believe in reincarnation. That belief teaches them that they could be reborn as a monkey or a cow, so they will go out of their way to avoid hitting an animal. Apparently, the animals were notified. They never move.
We arrived at a Catholic school and were warmly received. In 2 programs we shared with over 1,300 children and teachers. Most of the students were Hindus. It was so sweet to watch their faces as they listened to the stories we told them about Jesus. We invited them to pray with us and put their trust in Jesus. Some of the younger ones prayed in soft whispers, but the older ones prayed loudly by the hundreds. God is blessing our time in the Tirupattura area.
We are very tired, but very happy. We’ve done 10 shows in 2 days. Wait until you hear the rest of the reports! Please keep praying. This is a very dark place.
In Jesus,
Linda
