Ian and I and our friends had the best day today! We did a show for Syrian refugee children. Some of these children were born in Lebanon as their parents fled here 4 or 5 years ago. They now have little hope of going home. The children loved their gifts we brought, but they especially loved one of the tricks he did. One little boy was sure he knew what Ian was doing and when Ian surprised him, his mouth fell open! He was so funny.
When I told the story, they listened very well. Their animal sounds that I asked them to make as part of the story were all the same. I could tell no difference between the sheep and the chickens. So many of them prayed with me and it was sweet to hear them talking to God!
I was also blessed to hear the house fellowship praising God in Arabic yesterday. That was an incredible sound, complete with Arabic style music.
All of you have also been a blessing! So far, you have given $1580 toward feeding the children. My friends are very encouraged and the children ate today! I have funds with me , so as you have notified me of what you have given, I have given them the help immediately. If any of you have not sent an email to me telling what you have given, please let me know. Thankyou for all of your help!
We need you to pray! This is a very difficult time in Lebanon. It is a privilege and a joy to be here!
