Don’t you love the girls’ smiling faces! Last night, I had dinner with my dear friend Stephen. He is our driver. They prepared a beautiful welcome, complete with hand made paper butterflies as a gift for me. The meal was lovely!
When I first met Stephen so many years ago, he did not know the Lord. Now, he is a fine man of God and he and his wife are active in their church. What a sweet testimony to the way this place changes lives!
I had a very busy day yesterday. I spent 3 hours organizing equipment in the library so that the students could access it. I assembled backpacks of storytelling equipment that students could check out for ministry. I also organized the puppet equipment. Then, I spent 3 hours teaching how to use the tools that are available to them. I also began a Bible study on 5 promises that God makes when life is hard. Finally, I spoke at chapel last night and shared my testimony, how Jesus called me to faith as a little child. I shared about Mike and God’s faithfulness during that terrible time and how He has continued to watch over me!
These opportunities are precious! Please hold me in your prayers!
